About the Unit

As a conscription officer at P 7, you belong to the personnel section of the armored battalion staff. The staff works with execution management, logistics, planning, communication, training, personnel services, and provides the battalion leadership with decision-making support in these areas. The personnel section currently consists of a personnel manager, two personnel generalists, a personnel administrator, two conscription consultants, and a conscription officer.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of conscription officer, you will handle cases concerning conscripts, coordinate administration during enlistment and discharge, and work on needs assessment for future training years.

You will also participate in review boards where you are expected to assist with expertise in laws and regulations concerning total defense obligations.

Your work also includes coordinating, supporting, and developing the unit's work on issues related to the rights and obligations of total defense conscripts, as well as supporting managers in matters concerning authority exercise with conscripts and total defense obligations.

Tasks are primarily performed independently, but you will also work closely with the unit's conscription consultants, legal officers, and defense health, as well as act as a contact person towards HR Center, Army Staff, and the National Service and Assessment Agency within your area of expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• University education or several years of work experience that the employer considers relevant for the position
• Very good ability in digital support systems
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B, manual transmission

You have good physical and mental health. Physical training is a work task within the Armed Forces and takes place during working hours, 3 hours/week.

The Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also called P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct military basic training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized and motorized combat with the support of our main vehicles, which are: Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 9040C, and Pansarterrängbil 360.

P 7 has full-time and part-time staff serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
